Need a MB w/ 4+ SATA 1 PCI x16, as many PCI slots possible

I am trying to find a motherboard that has at least 4 SATA slots, only one PCI-E x16, zero PCI-E x1 slots, and as many pci slots as possible.

It seems like all of these newer boards with a pci express x16 slot, have very few pci slots, or don't have a lot of SATA slots.

I might just get an sata controller card, but would prefer if I did not.

Any suggestions? Newegg doesn't really bring up anything. All I found were boards with 1-3 pci-e x1 slots, and 3 or less pci slots.

Would I be able to use a total of 8 SATA slots? Or am I only able to use the RAID or the standard ones?

I want 4 drives in a raid config, and then 2 additional drives in a standard config.

That's what I would have suggested for the most PCI slots.

I'm thinking of dumping my Asus A8N-SLI Premium for that board. Still debating it though. Like other boards, though, it seems to have its fans and haters.

- Heh, I wish we could just wave a wand and have the right board in front of us! Seems like picking a MB is one of the hardest picks out of building a computer. At least that's with me, but I am sure my lack of knowledge on the subject has something to do with it too
