Need a machine that will randomly flash one of 3 or 4 colored light?

I need a machine that will flash 3 or 4 different colored lights randomly and will continuously do so. Or one that is simple to build. Basically I've got some students I'm testing their reflexes and if green flashes they do go, red they stop, blue they go left etc. 3 or 4 different colors is enough.

Kind of like the uno reflex game, or random numbers would work also.

Get four strings of solstice seasonal lights and four blinker bulbs. Hide all but one light on each string.

Teach the kids a useful skill (soldering) while having them make their own circuits to do this. It'd only cost a couple bucks per circuit.
