Need a low profile silent AM3 HSF that uses stock mounting

Any suggestions?
I picked up a SilenX yesterday and it has some complicated moutning system and I'd have to pull the motherboard out of the computer to put a different back plate on it to mount the HSF.
Having just put this thing together, I'd have to redo all my cabling and what not as I'm using a very cramped case. (Silverstone GD05)
With the optical drive I can only use a cooling solution that is 76MM high or less.
The stock fan works, it's just really loud under full load.

Is there possibly an adapter to put a larger fan on the stock heatsink?

You should be able to get a Fan Adapter, check Newegg, but you'd want to check your Temps carefully after installing one. Also the Fan you choose would make a big difference.

The mount is really the trickiest part of your request, at least if you want Cooling for Overclocking. That said, this cooler looks like it has the standard mount and likely will work very well at Stock CPU settings. Though it appears to be the standard mount, it does look a little tricky, but I have no experience with it and just looked at a couple pics.

Not looking to overclock. This system is just for serving media and encoding stuff. But at full throttle, the OEM fan is louder than a jet engine.

That should work then and it's real cheap. From reading the User Reviews, it appears there's a screw to loosen, put the clips in place, then tighten the screw again. The one possible downside mentioned was that it might block some RAM slots. If you're using just 2 Sticks of RAM you can just move them to Bank 3 and 4 to get around that though.

I know what you mean about noise on the Stock AMD Heatsinks. After a week with my X6 Stock Heatsink I couldn't take it anymore. In retrospect the poor airflow through my old Xaser III was likely the main culprit, but replacing the Stock Heatsink with the Silenx in my sig took care of it. That said, the Silenx I have is definitely not what you want due to its' size, although its' Clipping mechanism is what you desire.
