Okay, go easy on my guys. My last build was a Celeron 450a back in '98. I got lazy and when to the dark side (Dell) for a few years but now I'm back and starting the Core 2 Duo build.
Anyway I just want to be sure I'm reading these instruction correctly.
Is this the correct order of things under the motherboard? (Core 2 Duo)
Motherboard
Cushion (stuck to motherboard above and protective tape below)
Insulator (stuck to H-type clip below and Cushion above)
H-type clip
Is that right? Just seems like it could be a little tricky since you have to stick the Cushion to the motherboard. Looks like you gotta get that right the first time so the holes for the screws line up or things could get messy.
Also, and this is a dumb question that I'm pretty sure I know the answer. The memory, one stick in each channel right? i.e. each pair of sticks goes in the same color slot.
Thanks
