need a little nforce3 raid help

my previous system was an nforce2 board that i had two 250 gig sata hitachis in a raid 1 array. i began to have problems with that system, so i decided to upgrade to an nforce3 board and amd64 3000.

when i attempt to raid these two drives, my computer hangs with 'detecting array.....' and just sits until i power it down and jump the board to clear the cmos.

i never get into the f10 raid menu...this is purely after enabling the onboard sata ports and raid controller in the main bios.

any ideas? someone suggested my enermax 350 isn't powerful enough for this 2 dvd drives, 2 sata drives and this processor mobo combo.

Maybe because it detects the old array but the format is incompatible with the controller, which hang it.

Try to remove the HDD and post to see if it will detect no array and ask for a bootable volume. If it works, I guess that you'll have to erase the array completly and start from scratch.
