Need a little help

I'm trying to do a clean install of Win2K Pro (already have a version running). When I put in the CD and do the clean install it won't let me delete the existing partition and only have one version of Windows installed on the HHD. So how can I do this? Is the only way using fdisk? If so, could anyone explain how I can do that (only done it once before and I can't remember what to do). Thanks for any help!

Are you booting from the CD? If you boot from your Windows 2000 CD the Windows installer shouldn't complain about partitioning/formating because the install will still happen successfully with out your old Windows partition.

Ah, see I was just trying to do it while running Win already. So I should just boot from CD and it should be ok (since Win never started), right?

Where I am now...

I've done fdisk and then went back and tried to run setup. It said setup could not be run in DOS. How can I get around this so I install Win2K? Please help!

I did, but it said it's not a vaild system disk or whatever. "please enter a system disk and press enter". That's what I get.
