Need a little help.

I am in need of a little help with something. I am currently running win2k on both of my systems and need to make a bootdisk. The problem is that I am using a promise fasttrak66
card on myt main system and the built in highponit controller(abit be6) on my second system. I have made the win 2k bootdisks from the w2k cd but i always get a ntdetect error. I am assuming this is because it cannot find the hard disks without the driver for the ultra 66 controllers on either computer. I was wondering if there was a way to tell it to use the drivers? I also cannot get my copy of win2k to boot from the cd on either computer so a reinstall or repair requires a format and install of win 98 then an install of win2k and ntfs conversion everytime I need to repair anything. It would just be so very useful to be able to boot to dos and run the setup from the cd but of coarse that cant be done with a standard win98 bootdisk.

please help if you can.
