I'm helping my church out with something. They have a computer in the sound booth and would like to record sermons and burn them to cd. So basically have an automated system that records to .wav then dump it to a folder.

I'm trying to keep this free.

The only suggestion I have is Windows Media Encoder, but that may be complicated to install and figure out.

any other suggestions?

Windows media encoder is easy.
