I'm not exactly sure that this is the topic it should be posted under but here goes nothing.
I am in the process of designing a rest that you would rest your elbow on. It would attach to the arm of any chair. I would have a mechanism that allows it to move in the x and z axis but not in the y (vertical) axis to a certain extent but it would bounce back into the original position if no pressure is applied. It would also be contoured to your elbow as well as be made of a material that would make it very comfortable to lean on.
Basically, I would like to know:
1. Would you would even consider buying a device like this?
2. How much would you pay for such a device?
3. What qualities would you like for this device to have other than the ones i mentioned?
Any advice in general would be appreciated.
