Need a little help with an Excel file...

Here's a question for you folks familiar with Excel..

You see how at the bottom of the Chart I have a running total of how many people in that column?

I'm trying to use the CountA() Function but that ONLY counts which Cell isn't empty, it doesn't actually count how many entries INSIDE the cell. Therefore I have to manually keep count (very annoying)

So, any ideas as to how I can use a Function to automatically keep a proper tally?

Can't you put each name in a different cell?

You could probably split the contents and count them in a macro, but that would be fairly complex.

If you have a cell for each name, then it would be countable.

BTW, my birthday is Feb 12...
