Need a little help with a rebate problem, please let this stay

Okay here is my problem. A month ago I bought 2 30gig Maxtors from best buy, I need the UPC's for rebates on them, then I found out about the controller card deal. so i picked up a couple of them, now i found out, I need the UPC's from the hard drives, or at least a copy of them. Plus since I bought the hard drives and controllers seperately do i have to include the reciept for both the hard drive and the controller? What should i do, is there an easy way to fix this, or do I need to find someone willing to send me copies of thier UPC's from hard drives? Also what about the receipts?

Has anyone gotten their rebates back from Kingston ValueRam. I've waited 4 months now, no dice!

datsfresh -- I got my kingston rebate from onvia about a month ago.

mikef208 -- Unless I'm mistaken, the ata controller card rebate asks for the original upcs and copies of the receipts. Without the original upcs, I'd call them first to see if photocopies are acceptable but even if they say yes over the phone, your chances of getting the rebate are still iffy as they can deny you later.
As for buying the drive and card separately, the FAQ on maxtor's site states that they can be bought separately as long as both fall within the same rebate period. If you bought your hard drives before April, you're out of luck on the rebate. I included a printout of the FAQ with the pertinent question and response highlighted on mine as I also bought mine separately.

I know this is off topic, but it is the best place for it. As a golden member I knew that it was off topic, which is why I asked it to be allowed. It does say on the rebate itself photocopies are accepted.

I've seen a few posts which discuss Maxtor and Kingston rebates.
