Need a little help.....recording electric guitar through Audigy 2

I have my electric guitar running through the I/O box on an audigy 2 Platinum EX and everytime I record it picks up the microphone. I have tried muting the mic and also switched from Line 1 input to Line 2 input and it still records the mic. Is there any way to shut off the mic without directly unpluggin the darn thing?

Any help is appreciated.
 
Aha figured it out. I have a webcam with a mic on it and thats what it was picking up because I had it set to default in the sound menu. DOH!
