Need a little help/input on Strong Bad Podcasts

I bought an Ipod Video 30gb today (horray!), and I want to put the homestarrunner.com podcasts on it. Here's the problem: I can't download them. I click 'get' in iTunes and it stalls for about 20 seconds and disconnects. This particular computer has a paltry 56k connection, but I've never had issues with downloading files. About the only thing I can't do on the net is streaming media, like songs or videos. So I was wondering, are 'podcasts' considered streaming media, requiring a broadband connection at minimum? If not, what else could i be doing wrong?
