I got a
Pentium 3 550
96 megs of ram

and have a voodoo 3 agp card...

I want to get a voodoo 5500 pci card and wanted to know if I will see alot of difference in games or do I need to upgrade my processor...

Thanks
Cliff

You still have some life left in that CPU. The Voodoo 5 5500 video card will give you quite a boost in frame rate over the old Voodoo 3.

I agree with Compeller. I have a friend who has a PIII 500. He just bought a GeForce 2 and he noticed drastic improvements from his TNT. Good Luck.

Thanks for the help...
I notice on the games I am playing I am over the reccommended requirements pretty well But still a little choppy so I thought it may be the Video Card. thanks again

Copperman, that is an awesome deal!!!!

You won't get higher framerates, but you *will* be able to easily maintain stability. you won't get the choppiness that you got with the V3
