Yes. And I assume you need memory as well. What do you have now?

But keep in mind you'll need DDR2 memory, so if you were planning on keeping your current DDR, you should be looking at skt 939 AMD. But if you were also buying new memory, that's good as DDR2 is cheaper than DDR at the moment.

Also, FYI, Intel's newest line of cpu's will be out in about a month, Core 2 Duo. Performance will be great, and prices will be extremely competitive. Also, when they are released, Intel and AMD will both be cutting prices on their current line of cpu's.
