Need a lil help with Adaptec cd creator

I'm wondering if there is a way to uncheck the button to cache the info to the drive before copying a cd.

The only way i can do this is to run a system test on the destination drive.
After that i can uncheck the option. If not, trying to uncheck the option says that my drive is not capable...but it is...

Anyone know a way around this?

btw it's adaptec easy cd creator version 4.02e

im not sure about that, but theres a 4.03 out now, maybe that has the option of unchecking it...

Not sure about 4.02 but in 4.03 its under Toolz/Optionz.

... one funny thing is my plextor drive has a DAE of 69X...
isn't that impossible?
