Ok I am about to buy either the asus v8200 deluxe or the gainward powerpack !!!, but can't make a final decision on which outweighs the other. The asus being $20 more has a better name but is it really worth it? especially to lose the DVI out...Also Gainward is not a very large company in the US and going to their site and seeing the main page have a picture that says "all your base are belong to us" and getting a 404 when click on product information for the card is not really reasurring. Also the gainward is VERY hard to find, since I only found it on a total of 3 sites off pricewatch. Can someone help me make this decision?

I would go with the cheapest you can find....All the geforce3 CARDs are almost identical in performance Some are slightly better AND i mean slightly YOU CAN HARDLY TELL ANY DEFERENCE!!
If the DV connection is important to you then Watch out cause some of the cards don't support it,either way you will be happy.
That's just my Opinion

the reason why I mentioned those 2 cards is because I am going to buy one of those 2 cards and not the visiontek because i want the VIVO feature.

Well I don't care for the GeForce cards but in the shoot out the Visiontek was said to be the best card of the bunch from what they say if you put anything in that,

The VisionTek is a no frills solution, hence I went with the V8200 Deluxe. I get my VIVO, superb cooling, and it didn't hit me with much of a price tag difference either.

Asus V8200 Deluxe all the way!

shaklee, I can understand what you're saying. When I was first buying my GeForce MX 2 last year, I looked into GainWard and their website was 100% suck. I was thinking to myself, 'Am I really going to give these guys my money?'. However, I went ahead and bought their card, and everything has been fine. The card came with all drivers on 1 CD, and with additional tools and software on a seperate CD. IMO, go ahead and buy from them, it's not as risky as it may first seem judging from their name or their site.;)

If you need DVI and are not sure of Gainward then go with the LeadTek card. If you are just looking for the best VIVO solution then buy the Asus V8200 Deluxe.
