Well, like it says above, not sure where to start on a Laptop. I have built several desktops, so i know the specific hardware to look for.. BUT i know that latops are more than just the components
So im tryin to figure out what MANUFACTURERS are currently the popular/reliable ones
Lookin for a middle of the road, 14-15" screen, 1 gig, 60-80 hd...i guess a dual core...$700-$1000 range
Dell, gateway, compaq, HP, Sony, IBM (sony and IBM still have a larger price premium tho, right)??? suggestions please (APPLE is NOT being considered)
