Ok, first off I need a new flash-based mp3 player for jogging/misc use. I started browsing through newegg (cause I like the product images) and came across these options:

SanDisk Sansa c250
Creative ZEN STONE PLUS
CENTON moVex
SanDisk Sansa Clip

I don't really have a preference although I like having a display it's probably not totally necessary. The biggest factor is price, although I don't want a piece of junk. The movex doesn't have great reviews so it's probably at the bottom of the list. I like the expandable memory on the c250 since I have an extra micro SD card lying around, and people seem to really like the stone plus.

Any added input about these models or any that I haven't included would be appreciated.

How much space are you looking for? You can get a refurbished ipod shuffle (1gig) for $49 at the apple store.

I need more than 1 gig....2 is probably my minimum, but I want a screen, so no shuffle.

I'm going to go have to agree.

The Creative Zen Stone Plus is not only feature packed, but the sound quality is amazing. It is on par with the Zen's and such. It is amazing to be honest. Plus, the build quality is strong and solid. It has the size of the iPod Shuffle but with a screen. It is perfect for working out and such.

I would say get the the Sansa Clip, since it has a clip and you don't have to spend extra $15 to buy an arm band for the Stone Plus.

All good arguments and these two are definitely my top two....just not sure which way I'm leaning.

You'd be better off with a coin flip then or just research the hell out of the two. Google reviews and such.

When it comes down to it, both are very well made. I just think the Stone will be the better choice in the long run..... No pun intended..

Good thought. I actually did some price searching and found the 2 gig clip on buy.com, so I decided to get it. Thanks for all the help.
