I recently moved to a house that has many full size trees in the yard and with fall coming soon and me having cleaned out the gutters once a month already, I want to avoid the "FALL" if you know what I mean.

I need advice on what "Cover" to buy for a standard gutter system. I can have pics of the gutters tomorrow if that will help. But most should be standard I'm sure.
Needing the Pros and Cons of each product recommended as I've already read some bad things about Gutter covers and how one should'nt use them.

Cleaning them 8-10 times a year is not thrilling mind you! :disgust:

Any other tips etc, would be great.

I installed the plastic guttar guards with the diamond holes cut out. But before installing them, I used construction adhesive to attach window screen to keep things like seeds from clogging the holes. Depending on the type of trees, that'll work well. It definitely keeps the leaves and seeds out of the gutters but sometimes the screens can clog with tiny debris so you'll still need to use a garden hose to clean them off about once a year. Still, it's much easier (and a lot less nasty) than cleaning gutters and a lot less expensive than professional gutter guards.

Edit: I installed these almost 5 years ago. My gutters have been completely clog free ever since. Best $100 I ever spent.

The only problem I have is an area where two large sections of roof come together. The resulting water runoff can be more than can go through the screen so for that section of roof so it spilled over the side. I removed the window screen for that section of gutter and it helps but water still spills over during big storms. It's only about 6 inches of gutter but it receives the runoff water from about 1800sqft worth of my roof so I don't think the other gutter guards would handle that much water either.
