need a guiet cpu hs and fan, any suggestions

The intel fan on my 3.2 cpu emits a high pitch or i have a ringing in my ears. I have an ASUS pb4800e deluxe mb. i was interested in a zalman cnps7700 series but i can't figure out if it would fit! Can anyone tell if it fits or suggest a fan that would be quiet?

so, you have that mb, I'm just conerned if it'll fit
do you know what the differnce is in -alcu and -cu ?

One is aluminum + copper (AlCu) and one is solid copper (Cu)

Pure Cu is more expensive, but tends to dissipate heat better.

*Note - if you're trying to really reduce airflow, AlCu does a better job of low-flow cooling*
