Need a great multiplayer game help!

So I just sold my xbox 360 which I did a lot of online gaming with ( graw, graw2, gow...) and I was really into the competitive clan matches. I would like to get into something like that on PC but don't really know where to go. I was thinking about something new(er) so that a lot of people would be playing but other than that I don't know. I would also like it to look good.

Call of Duty World at War
Battlefield 2 (the Grandaddy that won't retire! Still thousands playing daily)

I was really considering getting the cod4 because I remember playing it online a little for xbox 360. Do you think there are still many people who play it online?

As I write this, it shows:

15,000 people playing COD 4
3,100 people playing COD World at War
8,500 people playing BF2
8,700 people playing Team Fortress 2

Yeah, COD 4 is still one of the most popular games out there at the moment.
Counter Strike/CS Source still mops up the floor with everybody else though. Hard to believe. I never really got in to that.

Wow, that is a lot of people. I kind of figured that it would be turned around with world at war. Well I guess I need to get cod4 now.

f anything post COD:UO.

Get BF2 and BF2:SF. Still plenty of fragging. Just be selective on the servers, you get some weak ones.

I suggest Sins of a Solar Empire (4x RTS) and Unreal Tournament 2004 (FPS--games to play are Onslaught and Invasion-RPG). They're great games though neither really has much of a clan scene.

i really like team fortress 2 but you have to have mic though its a must
i got a new blutooth headset and use it on pc and its better playing when you can just say whe you want to do in the game verus pausing and typing it.
