Need a Good utility for maximum Video card OC

I will be using a XFX 4870 1GB for the experiment. It has the egg shaped cooler but later on I plan on transitioning to another aircooler and/or water block.

What programs are good for monitoring and recording temps? At the moment I have GPU-Z 0.3.3 pulled up....but it only has these temps listed:

GPU Temp. (DISPIO)
GPU Temp. (Memio)
GPU Temp. (SHADERCORE)

What does DISPIO mean? I assume "MEMIO" refers to "memory" and "SHADERCORE" refers to the GPU itself.

I don't see a VRM temperature listed? How can I measure that?

I know MSI afterburner and ASUS smart doctor are good programs....but what can I use with this XFX product?

How about Rivatuner? Would be a good choice?
 
Yeh, Afterburner works with all sorts of cards.

VRM temps are ususlly called "VDDC Slave temp" in GPU-Z. If your card supports temp monitoring of them, they're usually down towards the bottom of the listing on the monitoring tab.
