Need a good trackball mouse (hopefully wireless)

I was hoping to go wireless with my mouse, since I already use a logitech wireless keyboard. I currently use the logitech trackman wheel, and I know there is a wireless trackman, but the reviews I'm seen indicate it is a smaller version of the trackman that would be uncomfortable for me (I have big hands), and the range only does 6 feet at best.

I'm hoping to find a trackball mouse, where the ball is on the THUMB rather than the fingers, has good reception, and good size. The reviews on newegg hint to a microsoft wireless trackball (don't know if it's thumb or not) that has the range I want, but I haven't been able to find any microsoft trackball mice...Guess they don't make them anymore.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This thread will get more replies in the peripherals forum, where it belongs.

If you are talking about the silver/grey trackman wheel (not the original PS/2 off-white thing) then I can double check to make sure when I get home, but I have both the wireless and wired... The wireless seems to be from the same mold from my recollection and I can guarantee they're similarly sized. I can give you a side by side picture if you'd like. :)

Double checked the 2 while I was home, and the molds are identical for the currently available wired and wireless versions.

Alaricljs,

What is your experience with the range and performance of the wireless?

It eats batteries at an obnoxious rate (however I'm using NiMH, if you want to pay for Alkies they'll last alot longer) I'd say every 3 weeks I swap out a set of batts.

I can comfortably control the system from ~20 feet away, I've not tried farther. You will immediately know when your batteries are in need of replacement because range goes down and lag/glitching goes up. With full batts I didn't notice lag in GridWars... only thing I played on the HTPC it's hooked up to :)
