Need a good single player FPS

The do carry a M rating for the gore but you can turn it off in the options screen.

Woah.. I was playing the M rated games when I was like seven or eight, what's wrong with him? (Maybe even five, because of killer instinct) I remember playing Diablo one and being scared out of my mind because of the butcher and some of the very dark levels.. (ALL OF 'EM)

although fulgore >>>>> orchid by far

Yes, it was button mashing to hell... Killer instinct allowed for full rage with button mashing. So awesome.

Hmmm, i'm thinking that COD2 might be a little intense if little ones are with you watching you play. Not really gory but more... too realistic i guess?

Halo1/2 might be a good choice but i dont remember if the language is bad. Maybe something where you are shooting monsters/aliens rather than people?

Halo 1/2 are M, iirc.

Seems like most shooters I play are all rated M, multiplayer, or are old. Not too many recent FPS that are T rated and single player.

In the T category:
Portal, it won't last you that long.
Enemy Territory: Quake Wars, but it's really made for multiplayer.
Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 1&2, not that they'd be my first choice, but all my first choices are rated M.
Joint Operations: Typhoon Rising, not bad but it's starting to get a little old.
Star Trek Elite Forces 1&2, but now were definitely talking old games.

That's about all I can think of. Not really a great list.

I think you should try a different game type than FPS if your looking for Teen.

However most M rated Shooters do have the option to turn down or off the gore and such.

With that note. Pick up the Orange Box. You can turn off the gore, I think. The game isn't very gory anyways and most of the time your killing aliens. It's worth it. $39 at Wal-Mart on PC and 360. Or get it directly at http://www.steampowered.com


Other than that.....If the game is rated M it doesn't mean it doesn't have a setting to turn it down or off. Great Shooters tent to get M ratings. However you can check out Tribes or something.
