Currently have a GeminII running passive, but it has been annoying me since it blocks off 2 of my pci express slots. I can't turn it into my RAM since I have reapers and their heatsinks are too tall.
So I'm looking for a good cheap replacement with the most important factors being sound and price. Price should be less than $35 since it looks like that's what I can get a xigmatek for which is supposedly pretty good. Not sure, but I've heard those can be used passive.
I've got a 45 nm so cooling isn't that big an issue though if it gives me some room to OC than that is a big plus.
