these shrimp are to be peeled and divined correct?

Get EZ-peel which come deveined. If you cook 'em in the shell they get more tender, but this recipe might have ya take 'em out so it can absorb the seasoning.

Wrap bacon around them, lightly baste with Olive Oil for taste. Squeeze lemon on top and bake for 10-15 minutes at 325.

ok, that recipe was awesome, just awesome. tasted great.
I really hope you didn't peel and devein them before cooking!
Glad you enjoyed it, one of my favorites.

they were divined, but not peeled before cooked. i coulda used some more butter, but i had enough and they tasted great.

You can barbecue it, boil it, broil it, bake it, sautee it. Dey's uh, shrimp-kabobs, shrimp creole, shrimp gumbo. Pan fried, deep fried, stir-fried. There's pineapple shrimp, lemon shrimp, coconut shrimp, pepper shrimp, shrimp soup, shrimp stew, shrimp salad, shrimp and potatoes, shrimp burger, shrimp sandwich.

Did they have the heads? Were they mushy? Next time, don't worry about the vein, leave it in there.

I wouldn't eat shrimp wtih heads and shells on that aren't de-veined....wtf I've never seen any shrimp cooked that way.
I think I can safely say between this and your steak cooking methods, you don't know much about cooking at all.

Get whole shrimp next time. Most of the flavor comes from the heads. I'm sure what you made was good, but I guarantee you, it's an entirely different dish with the heads on. I'd be afraid they'd get mushy and pasty if they didn't have the heads on and the shells were cut, but if you say they didn't, glad to hear.

4-6 cups half and half
garlic seasoning too taste (I use up to 6 tablespoons, depending on how much shrimp)
2 cups of real butter
2 onions (diced) sauteed
salt and pepper to taste
4-6lbs shrimp

Sautee onions in butter
Heat half and half (do not boil)
Add sauteed onions
Add garlic, salt and pepper to taste.
Cook slowly 15-20 minutes

Serve over rice

No seafood markets in your town? Even a Whole Foods should have whole shrimp.

Oops, didn't see the first one. Poo.

Don't worry about shrimp with the heads on. Most rookies will cut themselves on the barbs on the head. Loup Garou probably sucks the heads too 😉 (an cajun thing and the ONLY WAY to do crawfish)

For the next time, the easiest is Scampi, which is cooking them in butter with garlic and cheese on the top. Clean and devein. You can heat a half to whole stick of butter and add 1-2 cloves of garlic (1-2t of pre-minced). Brown the garlic at Med-High heat and then add the shrimp. Cook them until they move from grey to pink. Remove from heat and add to a shallow pan with the butter. Turn the oven onto broil. Sprinkle Parmasan cheese on them and broil for 2-3 minutes (so the cheese melts and browns just a little). Do not leave them in much longer or they will get mushy (overcooked).

You can also butterfly them as above, baste them with garlic butter (as started in the Scampi), and then sprinkle with paprika or Old Bay. Then Broil them for about 5minutes (to pink). Taste great, but a little detailed work, especially if you use large or smaller.

Nah...only suck the heads on crawfish. Although I do admit, I love the fried shrimp heads you get at sushi joints.
