Need a good recommendation for 2.0 or 2.1 desktop speakers.

Primary uses: Gaming, music (Pandora and/or MP3's mostly), and occasionally some streaming video outside of normal computing usage.

Desires: Good dynamic range. I'd like to avoid a subwoofer, otherwise I'd go back to my Z-5500's, but I love my bass and know I probably would be disappointed without one.

Price: ~$40ish or under

My Z-5500's are slated to go in my living room for my poor man's home theater. I just don't have the budget and the desire to run wires in my office all over the place.
