I am finally almost ready to take the CompTIA, Network+ Certification Exam and need to get an exam voucher for the first of December. I understand that it is somewhat cheaper to take the exam by having a voucher.

I have been studying from the Michael Myers "All in One" and "Passport" books and the Cramsession study guides and sample exam questions for the past three months. Any advice and/or suggestions for additional super study materials or links would also be appreciated. My little brain runneth over with networking, but hopefully the end of studying for this year is in site. Thanks for your help.

I used Sybex and one of the ExamCram2 guides.

Maybe run up to your local library and skim the Sybex book for stuff that your other books didn't cover. I remember a few people complaining on a message board several months ago that Myers didn't cover as much stuff as Sybex. *shrugs* I never looked at his book so I don't know.

The exam was both easier and harder than I thought it was going to be. Some questions, very few, were straight from the OSI model or about a particular class of address. In other words, stuff I'd committed to memory.

I was suprised by the number of "scenario/diagram" questions they had. A few of the diagram troubleshooting questions were not very clear to me.

Anyway, when you're ready to take it, you'll know. I studied on and off for a while, then made a final push to finish the book. Finally felt like my head was going to explode from all the information so I took it and scored a 786, if I remember correctly.

Good luck.
