need a good heatsink/fan for a slot a

this one looks good, but i have no experience with this stuff

this will be my first attempt to overclock - i'll be smoking an athlon 800

any tips or tricks would be greatly appreciated
for now i'm just looking for a good heatsink

The Golden Orb. I'm using it now, I have a slot A Athlon 650 @ 800. The Golden Orb is just slightly warm to the touch. But for extreme overclocking, it's probably not the greatest HSF.

Get the alpha. I have a 3125 (slot 1 p3) and it runs very cool. With rain at idle I am usually room temp. Highest temp so far is 89F for the proc under full load.

if you want to see what amd thinks about it, you should go here. the company is listed on the left, and the ratings for it are on the right. just be sure to get the one for the slot and not socket.

Alpha's the best but it's not cheap. Get the alpha if you wanna do some serious o/c .
