I would just like to be able to make an iso image of my current OS and applications for backup. I do not want to burn anything to disc because I only have a cdrw in the laptop and I am sure it would take like 12 disc or something to backup. TIA

I want to make an iso image so I can transfer it through my home network to a computer that has both a dvdrw and cdrw

BTW: OS is WinXP Pro x64

Arconis I hear is very good...but for my money, I would get norton Ghost. It would allow you to create a perfect disk image on a network attached share and then restore from that with a boot disk or mount it to access data later. It's what I use for my desktop and laptop.

Oops: just noticed the 64bit thing...I'm not sure if ghost supports 64bit. you would have to check into that.
