Need a good ceap source for RJ45 connectors (bulk) And CAT5 cable

I need a good source for RJ45 connectors. And Bulk CAT5 cable.

Home Depot has the RJ45 connectors for $9.95 for 25
and the CAT5e 500' roll for $59.95

I'm in California

Anyone find it cheaper. I have to wire 16 offices and a switch in a closet for DSL sharing.

I think that Fry's may have better prices than that for the connectors. I don't know about the cat5e. For plain cat5, Fry's isn't bad at all. And it's local.

Cat5e 500' roll is $59.95? Are you sure? I just picked up a couple of 1000' rolls at the Home Depot here for $49.95 ea.; also 5e. It can't be more then twice the cost simply because you're in California. If that's actually a 1000' roll, you probably won't find a better price.

As for modular plugs; I get those at $4.40 for a bag of 100, but that's through a wholesaler.

Well, I'm about 45 miles from the nearest Fry's. so that sort of rules that out. As for the wholesaler, who is it? drop me an e-mail or something. I have reseale number and business license, so it will be no problem. And you could be right on the cable it might be 1000' roll. It was labeled 10 cents a foot or $59 roll.

Yep, that sounds like it's a 1000' foot roll.

I get all my networking stuff (except cable-after shipping, it's cheaper at HD) from Krista Micro. You will not be able to see their prices until you have opened an account and been given a login password.

I got 1000' of cable from Home Depot for $50 and 100 connectors from here for $10 + shipping.

You can also add crimpers to the connectors for about $4.
