I'm building a computer there's going to be used for video editing and recording and I was thinking of getting an ATI Radeon All-In-Wonder but after reading through a some threads about Windows2000 driver problems I'm not so sure any longer. So, what card should I get?

1st off, this question has been asked & answered.. use the "Search" young skywalker :)

See this thread..

Video Editing/Capture Post..

2nd off, If your serious about video editing, ditch the AIW and get a dedicated card. What you save in $ with the AIW cards, you cost yourself in time & frustration.

It depends on what your doing. I use win2k and capture/edit video with my AIW radeon. I myself use it with Adobe Premiere as my editing solution and it works great. I find that my 650 Duron just doesn't the have power for Highest quality mpeg-2 captures, so I'll be upgrading to a T-Bird 950+ soon. It captures uncompressed AVI great, and is very capable at mpeg-1 and mpeg-2 with the right hardware.

I would recommend the AIW Radeon and I've found the drivers work well in Win2k and is a very versitile card. If you need to do something specific, there maybe better ways to go, but for a great, do everything well card, get the AIW.

Sorry about the long reply time but I've got stuff to do. Anyway, I've been looking at some dedicated cards and I've found one called Pinnacle Studio DV plus (Link). It appears to do all the needed stuff and also work in Windows2000 but is it worth the money? I will also need a video card for a little gaming and normal windows stuff but it must have a built in tv-tuner. Any suggestions?
