Need a good canister vacuum cleaner for kitchen and thick carpet

Dyson Cyclone V10 Absolute is also a good canister vacuum for thick carpet and pet hairs. Its three power modes work on all types of floors. Larger dustbin and strong suction power are enough for a good cleaning. This vacuum is one of the best vacuum under $500.
Dyson Ball Animal 2 has strong suction power with HEPA filtration which is good for allergy and asthma people. Its filter are washable and reusable. but there are certain features like a heavyweight vacuum, difficult to push on deep pile carpets, small dustbin, etc are the negative points in the vacuum.

I've heard Miele is the go-to brand for canister vacs. They're not cheap either though. To me I would definitely get a corded vac.

Unless you already bought appliances, I recommend you sign up with Consumer Reports. I found them to be a great resource when I bought my home.
