Need a good build

Hey everyone-

I'm about to have a chance, sometime in the next month, to put together a new, about 2k gaming build. I haven't really been staying on top of the latest and greatest technology, so I'd like some help in determining what I should put together.

A PSU probably won't be necessary; I have a 600W OCZ Powerstream PSU that I haven't RMA'd yet, but it'll likely do nicely no matter what sort of new build it goes in.

Although this is probably the wrong forum, I'd like to keep everything together - I need monitor recommendations as well... although I've been very happy with my Samsung SyncMaster997DF, I'm always open to change. Any suggestions there?

Any sort of advice anyone can give, even if it's not a complete build, would be very appreciated.

Thanks,

AMD X2 3800, maybe a faster core if your budget has room
DFI LP UT nF4 SLI-D
2gb 1x1gb OCZ 2-3-2-5
7900GT
250gb Seagate 7200.9 HD
Seasonic PSU, 420watts
Case of your choice with good airflow (120mm fans)
Creative X-fi Extreme Music
5.1 Speaker Setup

should be within your budget

Does anyone know when the next batch of AT pricing guides are coming out?

Also, no need to include speakers in the budget. Just the system.
