Need a good automated nightly LAN backup

I want to set nightly backups over my XP Lan, anyone have a suggestion for an easy way to do this?

i don't know, but you could start here and see if any allow backups over LAN:

wow they make rsync for windows, i think i might try this, i thought it was only for *nix

just map a drive to the folders you want to backup and use NTBACKUP.exe 🙂

That was easy... it even lets me set it to run daily / incrimental backups.. yay 🙂

Is there a way of automating a backup to CD-R/CD-RW? Can you do this through NT Backup? or Nero? or something else?

just make a batch file and use task scheduler to run it every day
