Need A Good 19-21 Inch Monitor

19" Sony CPD-G420. It's not cheap but the image quality is awesome - vibrant colours and razor sharp text.

I suggst the KDS XF-9e.

Ive compared it side by side with alot of the Viewsonic Graphics Series monitors, and with even a few of the samsung Samtron deals... This things is razor sharp all around and its colors are vibrant and a whole damn lot better than a couple of 300-400 dollar monitors I have seen.

I second KDS, an awesome monitor for half the price of the other flat triniton monitors out there...

I have a Gainward GF3 with a Sony CPD-G400 at home and a Matrox G400 with a KDS AV-7TF at work.

Both of those cards have excellent 2D video output and the Sony blows away the KDS. Yes, there is a big price difference and I'm comparing a 19" and 17" but I've seen my friends 17" Sony and it looks better than my work KDS with a Voodoo3 video card.

I hate Sony's high prices and 1 year warranty but IMO the image quality can't be beat. My next monitor will probably be another Sony Trinitron.
