Alright, I have one of those great dads that loves electronics. I want to buy him a nice printer for Christmas. (Yes, I know its a little late...) He is a business man, so he likes to print out documents in full color. I'm looking for a printer that does fast black printing, acceptable quality color, and an added bonus would be photo printing. I have tried doing some research, but with all around crappyness of companies putting out printers that fall apart quickly. If anyone can think of one, please let me know! :D

Thanks!

Canon. From the i560 upward, you get separate ink tanks for each color, and high resolution technology with thousands of nozzles in the print head.
That gets you speedy printing, good ink cost, and very good photo printing, even directly from camera on many models. There are models that use five or six colors for even better photo printing.

Alexia if you could tell us your price range that would be helpful.

I'm a big fan of the new R300 by epson. Individual ink tanks for reduced replacement costs, refillable, lcd screen, and direct print to CD.

I just got my wife a I560 Canon and it is great. Only 89.95 at Sams Club. Canon makes great printers the I560 and I860 are both good printers that won't break the bank and they have great looking print and excellent photo printing.
