Need a gaming laptop for Qcon

Hey, so time is running out, and I would like to get a nice gaming laptop for Qcon. I have been considering the asus G73jh, and the msi GX740. both of them are a bit pricey though. I would like to pay under 1200 if possible. The requirements for the laptop are basically a 5870 mobility or better, and an i7.

It would be desireable to get one with good resolution too, though I have considered the g73jh on bestbuy for around 1200 that only has the 1600x900 screen. Would like something at least 1680x1050 though.

Also, something similar or better than the 5870 would be fine, I know there may be new laptop cards coming out soon, but they cant be too pricey.

Any recommendations?

ASUS is probably your best bet. Personally, I like the Sagers better because they have better cooling but they cost more than the ASUS models. Just remember the ASUS models run pretty warm but they are a good product.

this sound kinda nice. What is the pricing and release date like? By then I should have more money saved.

k, ill forget that then. May want to wait and see if the g73jh prices drop upon release.
