Need a gaming keyboard that's quiet as hell. Thoughts?

my razer mechanical KB is just too damn loud these days, GF has been complaining so I need to get a quieter KB. Thoughts? Would prefer 40-80 range.

I use the X6 and the X4 is better in most ways despite being cheaper (it is also newer). When I buy a new keyboard it will be this one. My job requires typing all day and I play starcraft 2 and d3 beta at the moment, and personally I prefer this sort of keyboard over mechanical switches. I can type quite fast on this keyboard.

The X6 would be my dream keyboard if it didn't have horrible, horrible ghosting. It is pretty quiet, certainly compared to mechanical keyboards.

X4 is probably your best bet. Scissors would be (considerably) quieter but there's none that I know of that does anywhere near consistent even 4KRO.

X6 isn't bad at all - I don't know about 'horrible' ghosting. It has for the most part consistent 6KRO with the exception of Ctrl-R.

Ya but control R is something I use a lot in any fps game which is why its such a big problem. There are other key combinations that don't work but they've never been an issue, its just the control + r + another key which forces you to stop moving to reload while crouched. On the bright side, I don't play much FPS so its not a deal breaker.
