Anyone had a good / bad experience with a particular brand of mini-fridge?

Are there any sites out there that review them?

Thanks :)

I would have to assume so... the stock cooling, despite being a fridge, isn't really going to cut it if you want to run under 40* F.

You guys are freaks. ;)

Anyway, I've lived in a dorm for the past three years and have had good success with the Haier models ... but c'mon, a fridge is a fridge, right? Just don't buy some $20 model and expect it to work real well or anything .... ;)

i rented one from the school. i think it was a GE. i'm not sure tho. it worked fine. a fridge is a fridge as long as it keeps things cold.

I agree with TheInvincibleMustard. A fridge is a fridge. I have some frdge that I bought 3-4 years ago for $60 and it still works like new. It doesn't look like new, but that's another issue. I don't remember the brand at the moment. But like I said, $60, 3-4 years. It was hardly a top-of-the-line supper fridge. It keeps my drinks cold so I don't have to get up off my @$$ to get one while I am in my office playing games ;)

I got my mini fridge for $10 from a veterinary clinic. It was used to hold "samples." Nonetheless, after four years the thing still works great.

as entertaining as this thread is, does it really belong in GH? If off-topic isn't proper either, maybe we need an applience forum too ;)
