Can you compress the monitor stand to as short as it will go and then measure the monitor from the base of your desk to the top of your LCD?

Edit: I have exactly 17 and 7/8"s of clearance on my desk. Which is why the inches measurement is crucial to me

Could that be an optical illusion? Who knew 3 inches could look that significantly bigger?

I've read the 2005 has a better monitor panel, but dude I'm getting a 2405.

Actually I think the 2405 has better specs than the 2005 but it's still too much for my blood.

The 2005 has been as low as $384, I'm waiting for that to happen again.
