I've been using an 8GB card I got a while back for my 20D but I've come to realize it is completely inadequate when filming HD video. Everything comes out choppy and the PQ is very poor. I think the camera must be automatically adjusting for the slow card.

Can anyone recommend an 8GB CF card that can handle HD video?

Thanks

With a 5D MKII, don't mess around. SanDisk Extreme III is really the way to go. (I use the same but 4GB in my 5D.)

8GB

And, for a bit more you can get the Extreme IV. For video go 16GB or 32GB.

That Ridata performs well under its advertised speed according to Rob Galbraith's chart.

We use Extreme IV cards with a D300 at work for Gigapixel and they work great for continuous burst shooting.
