I just got my Toshiba 6x DVD drive in today and I loaded Power DVD that came with my eVGA Geforce2 MX. It turns out that the Power DVD that came with my card is a demo version and the sound kicks out after about 5 minutes of watching The Matrix. Where can I get another player that has full sound support? Let me know. Thanks.

You can buy the full version of PowerDVD at their web site. Don't know the address but I bet it's on your demo version somewhere. WinDVD is also available on-line.

What kind of sound card do you have? I ask because my Diamond MX300 came with the (outdated, but still functional) Zoran DVD player, so if you have a retail MX300 you could use that player for now.

I would go for windvd 2k 2.2b. its made by intervideo and has superior sound and picture quality compared to powerdvd 2.55. Powerdvd isn't dolby sound certified, so it cheats a little on sound decode. Its very obvious.. anyhow don't go for zoran, that is a dated low quality player. I used to have it with my mx300, that @#% software crashed too much.

anyhow, just buy windvd, you won't regret it:)
