Need a dvd ram Driver for my laptop?

I have a Toshiba I recently replaced the HD in and got everything loaded except the driver for the optical drive. Apparently this drive is a hard to find drive or driver? I have looked on Google all over for it and no luck!
Its a HL-DT-ST-DVDRAMGT30F ATA DRIVE. I'm hoping one of you guys have it or know of where i can get it!

I have the old HD, I know Toshiba puts the restore disk on the HD. How can I get this off the drive and on a DVD rom?

What specific Toshiba laptop model?

Does the old HDD work? If so, put it back in and get the drivers from it. When replacing the HDD, if the old one still worked, I would have cloned it to the new one and had all the drivers installed. It's still not too late to do that if the old drive still works.

And, if it still works, you can copy the Restore Partition to flash media. Or, burn it to an optical disk. BTW, cloning would have put that on your new drive.
