are there any products out there that are like a docking station but keep your laptop off the desk so it cools better? The problem I notice as I work with my laptop laying flat on ym desk it heats up the desk dramatically and there is so little space between the desk and the laptop that it starts to impact the laptop's temperature, forcing it to turn on its cooling fans often.
For now I guess I can shim my laptop up with whatever is laying around the office but I would like to have something more appropriate.
The only product I can find so far that at least keeps your laptop off the desk is this Oyster thing.
It's seems pretty neat but do you think it may help with keeping laptop cooler? They don't specifically mention anything about cooling- suggesting either it does not help with cooling or they simply didn't think people look for that kind of feature.
any thoughts?
