My new job requires me to have a dial-up isp. They'll pay up to $19.99 a month for one but they strongly recommend one with the most areas of dial ups available. The national manager recommended AOL because they are everywhere but I can't post here with AOL and it's $23.95 a month so I'd have to pay for part of it out of my pocket.

Is there another isp that has the coverage of AOL for something only slightly above or even better cheaper than $20 a month?

Also is Netzero highspeed worth signing up for or does their proprietary compression mess up images? And how good is their coverage?

Go with a regular ISP, you should be able to get 150-300 hours a month or unlimited for under $10/mo.

That's cool but how good are their coverage? I'll be covering northeastern new york, western mass, connecticut, and rhode island. I'll need dial up access for a ton of areas in these states.

If you actually looked, several of the nationwide ISP's offer nationwide coverage ... just to be sure, enter in all the area codes you'll be travelling in.
