ok, I need a desktop, but I am lazy to build one, so I am just gonna buy one........

here is what I want.

desktop
at least 2.4ghz
15inch lcd monitor

-I dont know the exact numbers for the ram and all that, but usually, with a prebuilt system, the amount of ram and memory that the builders decide are already good enough for me. I mean, your not gonna put a 2.4ghz w/ 64 megs right? lol

so my concern is the cost. Dell, last time, had a deal where if you buy there system, they upgrade the lcd monitor for free....and the computer ended being like 500 dollars. very good deal...since that deal is over, Im searching for any more deals like that. do you guys knw any bundles like that? any company will be fine.......

It's going to be hard to find anyone besides Delll and maybe Gateway than can discount LCDs below newegg prices. If you don't see a Dell Hot Deal you like either wait, or get the Dell without a monitor and find a LCD Hot Deal separately.

Actually you'll find many systems selling with 256 MB when 512 is better for XP.

Also remember a 2.4B with 533 MHz FSB is slower than a 2.4C with 800 MHz FSB, the 2.4C is roughly 10% faster.
