I use Right Guard clear gel. I was talking to my brother about my shirts showing white marks on them and he said it was the deodorant doing it. He used to use the same stuff and it literally ate holes into some of his button down shirts over time. He has changed and has not had any problems with markings or holes since.

He told me what he uses and I am looking for any other suggestions.

Hair Trim on regular basis + any brand, all are equal an suppressing orders, its just the "perfume" IN the deodorant that is different. That being said, please go for a brand name, don't go for fake Chinese crap.

I plan on going for a brand name. As long as it is less than $5.00 for a stick I am fine. Most run around $3.00 or so here.

Are you using an antiperspirant? A lot of them use a specific compound that causes staining.

I use Speed Stick 24/7 gel which does a great job for me. It is, however, an antiperspirant, but I don't really have much of a staining issue with my shirts.

Easiest way to avoid that though is just wear an undershirt, then you can use whatever deodorant/antiperspirant you want.

I wear undershirts and I guess the shirts must stick in the washing machine or I sweat badly which I did not think I do. I just checked and it is an antiperspirant. It is actually Gillette Clear Gel, which I thought was Right Guard but I guess I changed from that to this and same issue.

Thanks. I will look into the options given to me.

Salt stick

Yep. There are a variety of brands and styles (roll-ons, sticks) but they use minerals salts. The odor protection is far better than the mass market crap and it doesn't screw up your clothes.

I'd go with Certain Dri. In the girly aisle at Target, but it's bisexual. heh

It's basically a liquid roll-on that shuts down your sweat glands for 72 hours and leaves no residue to wear off. Think it's $4.64.

It's more industrial strength compared to your typical antiperspirant. It's is NOT a deodorant.

Old Spice degree is pretty nice. I used degree in the packs from costco. I recently switched to something else that was the "official deodorant of the nba" and had a "cologne" smell. Maybe right guard? Also from costco.

Hit the store, start popping off the caps and taking deep breaths.

Stay away from the antiperspirants. I like Old Spice High Endurance “Game Day” deodorant, although any of the High Endurance ones are good.

I use old spice stick.... STAY away from gel. Also turn your shirts inside out before washing helps a lot.
