I'm thinking about getting myself a nice pair of in ear headphones for christmas, and am turning here for some suggestions. I'm looking to spend no more than around $200 on a pair. I have a pair of sen HD 280 pro's that I use to listen to stuff aroud the apartment when I can't blast my speakers. I'm going for a pair of in ears that I can wear arond campus and in the gym. I was thinking about picking up a pair of Shure e4c's for around $170, and they seem to be half decent from review's I've read. However, I'd be interested in hearing some other suggestions or first hand accounts.

Thanks in advance

If you like your HD280s, I'd venture to say that you'd like the Etymotic ER4P. Great detail, rather bass-shy, but everything else is okay (especially detail). Shure IEMs generally have a strong midrange, but weaker treble and bass (but bass is stronger than etymotics in all cases).
